Who We Are

The Saltwater Film Society is a local non-profit dedicated to the love of film. We show films
to the public in several venues and hope to inspire the appreciation of classic film.

Events at the Strand

We have been showing films at the classic Strand Theatre in downtown Rockland since 2005.

Thursday Night Movie Club

We love watching movies at the SFS and to allow us share our favorte films we have started showing a monthly movie at the Thomaston Library. Every "3rd Thursday" of the month we will be showing offbeat but interesting films for everyone to enjoy. Check the Thomaston Library for the exact date and time. Admission if Free!
